It's not as sad as everyone said. for me it was OK. not something for kids under 11. Overall, The plot was ok, the only part that was sad was Anna, and her perspective on life.

I loved the book and almost did not see the movie based on the reviews. The movie was awesome. If you like tear jerkers have your tissues ready. The acting was superb! Yes the ending was very different from the book... Full review

I was so dissappointed with the movie after reading the book, I think the author must have sold out for alot of money to have the movie changed in the ending, The ending was the whole point of the story.... Full review

I have read the book and was expecting the ending that took me weeks to get to orginally. Then to go to the movie and have the book completely changed as with Jesse and the arson and hey let's NOT forget... Full review
